From rebond to Natural Hair

Hi everyone, I was contemplating on making a new blog.But I think it is best for me continue this one. I have so many post here that I wanted to update. Like, the hair rebond that I did. I finally decide to grow my natural hair . A friend of mine once told me that I look good with natural not too wavy hair and I took his compliment positively. So let me share my hair minus the rebond. Here it is

Lyn in dress

I been lurking to Gt's fashionista thread. I'm not claiming that I am proffessional when it comes to dressing and this thread help me a lot in some ways when it comes to dressing. Fellow sister's from gt's shared what they had. Sharing incluses from a where they getor bought the dress, the bags. the shoes and even accessories . You will learned that it's not about how expensive or the brand of the clothes or bag you are wearing but on how you carry yourself confidently.So here's my share.Just bought this today and I asked my friend to take some pics (shy pa ako nyan he he he)

sclero therapy

Weekdays we went to my friend dermatologist and she had her sclerotherapy session. Since I had some spider veins I am interested how this sclerotherapy works, I took some pictures during the procedure with my friend consent and I am greatful for her on allowing me. I am requestin for the post pictures and the healed pictures from her so please wait for my updates.

6th days of hair rebonding

As I promised here are my latest picture on my 6 days of rebonding. As per my hairdresser reminder I need to treat my hair for it will sure make it extra dry due to previous coloring and hair straightening.

Hair Straight vs Hair Rebonding

Since 2003 I always go to freshaire to have my hair straight but after careful thought. I decided to try the famous rebonding. My cousin had her hair rebond a year a go and I saw how her wavy hair transformed into soft and straight hair after.It's easy for me to chose her favorite salon " headliners" Since i am not sure if they have branches in manila. I decided to go home to our province in Quezon which I always do anyway. They informed me that they always have 1,000 pesos promo for any lenght but if your hair is too thick they will ask you for addtional fee depends on the thickness. I added 200 pesos.

I also asked them if they have branches in manila, they have but not in manila but in Santa Rosa Laguna complex. hmmmm not bad since I am from the south. the only downside of rebonding is you cannot wash your hair for 3 straight days so that our hair natural oils comes out and replace the lost moisture due to Ironinig of the hair. Today, is the 3rd day of my hair and I am happy that I can wash it now but with no shampoo only conditioner for a week.
Let me share my before and after picture. The rebond picture was taken the night after the rebonding. I whill share my washed hair later. I need to ask my SIL to take pic of it.

Shopping when your stressed

Tonight I bought a Bowling Lacoste Bag. I am not sure of the color that I would like to have but decided to get the beige. luckily as long as I don't used this or ripped of the tag price I can exchange with the color that i like. evern though I have 30 days to returned and exchange for new color. I am only giving myself a week to changed my mind. You may say I should have chose the color that I really like so I can used it soon but my being pickle minded attacked again and i cannot decide.

Anyway, I bought it because if I sleep it over the next day i am sure i would'nt bought it. costly yes but this is a need and not just a want. funny thing i was malling around this morning and my bag strap fell off. as in naging hand bag sya! so I decided I will buy new one which i did tonight . Before I was not a bag branded concious but I realized it is ok to have few bag but with good quality and can last longer. rather than have many bags but will easily break off and tendency i will buy new one again and again. I hope this works good.

P.s I am eyeing for an LV bag. he he he I am saving and saving for it. Gosh at times I am dreaming of this bag. Maybe because i always lurk on lv thread on GT. pics will be posted tommorow.

I just don't love starbucks coffee

Well, I just made that title to caught attention but mind you I really love starbucks and pictures can't lie. Whenever I need to get some documents to Manila City Hall I always dropped at Starbucks, Sm Manila to grabbed my favorite Ice Mocha and some sandwich.

It's time

It's time to update this blog. I must say I got a lot of page impression from this blog. My google adsense earnging goes up because of this blog. And I would like to thank for those who visited. I know a lot were curious about my Dermarolling update and most of my readers comes from google search. Some were emailing me for updates so I better do.

Under arm whitening

I know like me there are lots of women who wants to achieve a fairer underarm skin. I suffered also with dark under arm due to plucking, or because of the Deodorant I used before. There are lots of ways now to have a whiter or fair Under arm and some are expensive.I asked my Derma's Opinion and all she said was to used the Bleaching Cream that I am using on my face. And religously I did and see the results below. It may not be that perfect yet but at least you will notice the improvement. The bleaching cream should only be used twice a week, not everyday as it may cause irritation or inflammation of the skin. from my personal experience I think its more than a month or more before you can notice the improvement.If you want less expensive and you are patient then this might work for you too.

My Sanctuary .... Boracay

It's my 5th time to be in Boracay and I never get tired. who would be? been there alone last july 2008 for a week and now with my frielast Oct 21 to 24, 2008. We fly thru Sea Air this time.
I would still prefferedCebu Pacific or Asian Spirit over Sea Air since this plane is small you can really feel turbulence or something when your up there or when its time for you to land.



Last July , I met mang Vincent inside the Jetty port. He was theone whofind my Sander's accomodation for only 800 a day for 2 person with aircon and only 3 mins a from the beach. Actually he gets commission for recommending a guest to some hotels but the good thing he can give you a good deal too by finging a cheaper and good place to stay even to the point of adjust.just let him know your budget, and other preference and He will get it for you. I always asked for front beach and he can still give you a good discounted price.

I contacted him again for this trip and He get us 2280 per day at Boracay Peninsula Hotel. which isnt bad because it was supposed to be 3,800 per night. So anyoone who would want to get a cheaper Place to stay leave me a comment plus where I can contact you.

My 3rd and 4th derma roller

I actually had my 3rd Derma roller at the last week of june 2008. after that I went for my trip alone for a week and when I returned I am so lazy to update my blog. I even promised to post some of my BoracayBoracay trips alone. anyway, I will share it later since I am very tired from work. Tommorow I will have my 4th session of Derma rolling, its been 2 weeks that I been postponing it and hopefully this time it will push thru. Will update you for more pictures.

3rd derma roller cancelled

I was supposed to have my 3rd Derma roller session last 2 weeks, But I was supposed to meet a client the next day after the session so I move it the coming week. Instead of Derma rolling I had my warts removal done, It was for free i almost saved 2000 plus for it. Thanks to my Dermatologist. I never expected it. I also met daspunk from GT this is my 2nd time to meet a co Gt bloggers. she also try my Derma and I asked her after days and she seemed happy with the treatment given to her.


I am planning to have my Derma roller session this week but I will be very busy so I think it will be on the last week of June, I hope to make it, I don't want to have more delay for the procedure.

Today I will be going to my new friend place and that is on Antimonan, quezon. I am excited thought i had headache and some hyperacidity for more than 5 days now. She invited me and my other friend ate Dories who is leaving for Canada this sunday as Immigrant. Jennifer were supposed to go with us but she is in Bicol right now visiting her parents.\

Our plan is to stay on a beach and have a swim. Oh my I gained weight lol promise
no swimsuit for me hehehehe. I am also concerned about my face. I should have stop using my regimen for a week before going to the beach thats what I remember from my Dermatologist.


Anyway, I will make sure I won't go on swimming from 10 am to 3.30 pm. I don't want to ruined what I had just started. Good thing I still had my SPF 70 sunblock for my body and SPF30 sunblock for my face.

Celebration

I went to my province for one day. Since its my cousin graduation celebration, we took this pics and you can see that the derma roller was still visible on my face, Its still reddish but not as red as before. This is on my 3rd day picture after my 2nd dermaroller session.


So don't be afraid that the reddish will stay longer than 3 days. your face will be back to normal after 4-5 days

Pictures of my 2nd dermaroller session

I had my 2nd Dermaroller session last May 23, 2008 and I want to share it with you. As my Dermatologist told me the 2nd session were more abrasive than the first one,The more reddish part of my face is were she concentrated the most. No worries if you are undergoing with dermaroller the reddish part will be gone after 3 days ( promise) on the 2nd day you just looked like you are sunburned. I myself go out with this on my face.
At the clinic with topical anesthesia and plastic so that it may absorbed well by my skin

With regards with the pain, Oh yeah its my painful once the anesthesia are already worn out, but its tolerable, like they said no pain no gain
